The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for November 8 – November 12, 2021, feature a father/daughter reunion that has several characters on edge, a question of paternity, and more.
Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) managed to elicit from Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) a confession that she did, at one point, love Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan)…Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) agree to pool their resources and ensure that Brooke and Hope keep their distance from Deacon.
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) eavesdropped on a conversation with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) in which the former admitted to being ready to give up everything he held near and dear in order to begin a life with the latter. When Quinn bemoaned the Logan sisters’ constant interference in her and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) marriage, Katie revealed herself.
Deacon promised Brooke that he’s a changed man and that change has been for the better…Ridge is furious to find Deacon conversing with Brooke and Hope; he attempts to throw him out, but Brooke halts his efforts.
Quinn makes herself clear to Katie, and Carter – she’s not leaving Eric, and she’s not in the least bit sorry that forced Eric to fire Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). Quinn then points out the hypocrisy in Katie being willing to give Carter the benefit of the doubt, but not her.
Ridge is flummoxed when Hope defends Deacon, and Brooke refuses to back him in his insistence that Deacon vacate the premises. Deacon tells Ridge that he and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) are no longer a couple and that he merely wants the chance to make things right between himself and Hope. When it becomes clear that he’s getting nowhere, Deacon takes his leave – much to Hope’s chagrin.
Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) takes Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) by surprise when he inquires about their relationship. They attempt to make it clear that they are only roommates, and friends.
Hope pointedly reminded Ridge that Deacon – and not he – is her biological father; furthermore, she insists that she will not be dictated to when it comes to who she can, and can not associate with.
A dejected Deacon returned to Sheila’s hotel room, and relayed recent events; she quickly picked up the fact that Deacon is still carrying a torch for Brooke…Hope suggests that she, Liam, and the kids leave the cabin so that she can make inroads with Deacon in peace; Brooke works to dissuade her of the notion.
Ridge vents his frustrations to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who’s aghast that Hope would allow Deacon back into her life, and the lives of her children…With Brooke’s blessing, Hope calls Deacon back to the manse; father and daughter share a tearful reunion.
Paris tickles Steffy with a retelling of the fifth degree that Douglas subjected her and Thomas to…Thomas and Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) way lyrical about Paris.
Ridge instructs Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) to keep tabs on Deacon and Sheila…Hope implores Liam to support her decision to welcome Deacon back into her life…Brooke, Ridge, and Steffy debate whether Liam will be able to influence Hope.
Jack Finnegan (Ted King) thanked Sheila for remaining mum about his biological connection to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), his supposedly adopted son…Liam and Hope reach an impasse where Deacon is concerned…Sheila takes advantage of Finn’s arrival at Ill Giardino; he asks her to reveal the name of his natural father.
