The Bold and the Beautiful recap for December 7-11, 2020, features Liam and Steffy at an impasse, a totally recovered Thomas, and, for better or for worse, a reunited Quinn and Eric.
Hope (Annika Noelle) loves Liam (Scott Clifton), and she would never do anything to betray him or jeopardize their marriage. And she especially wouldn’t chase after her former stalker and plant a kiss on him. Sing his praises, yes. Adopt his son against all protestations, yes. But never kiss him. She’d rather shove him into another vat of (supposed) acid than do that.
But Liam isn’t so steadfast. When the tough got going, he got gone and went crawling back to his other great love, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). And now that the truth about the Thomas-Hope Mannequin smooch has been laid bare for all to hear – except for a still clueless Ridge (Thorsten Kayes) that is – Liam’s found himself in quite the pickle.
For his part, Liam actually wants to do the right thing. He wants to rip the Band-Aid off and just tell his wife that he cheated on her. But Steffy gave that plan a big thumbs down. She has no interest in upending her own life. And she certainly doesn’t want to lose the affection of the hunky doctor that’s been in her life for all of five minutes. She LOVES him after all.
But can Liam really keep quiet about his infidelity? Yea, most likely. At least until the inevitable Steffy is pregnant storyline. Then there might be some issues.
Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) made a big ol’ boo-boo. She took her marriage to Eric (John McCook) for granted, manipulated the lives of his son and favorite ex-wife, and caused massive damage in everyone’s lives. And then, to top it all off, she attempted to make a rival out of the one woman who was actually 100% on her side. Oopsie.
Luckily, Quinn is really good at apologizing. And having gorgeous electric blue eyes. Eric could never stay mad at those eyes, nor their possessor for very long. Now all is forgiven and Quinn is once again firmly ensconced as the Forrester family matriarch. Yay?
At the very least, it’s a victory for Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Flo (Katrina Bowden). The young lovers finally have their teeny tiny apartment back to themselves and the former can munch on doughnuts to his heart’s content.
So, Thomas goes from having a subdural hematoma to, a few hours later, being up and lucid and totally recovered from his life-saving surgery? Hmmm. And by the way, did ANYONE ever wind up calling Taylor (Hunter Tylo)?
Shauna to Eric: “I know Quinn can be a handful and that’s not news to you…I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, especially being with a man like you, you know, very powerful, and, I mean, you created a huge fashion empire from nothing.” Well, not exactly nothing. He did have the benefit of a huge loan issued by Stephanie’s (ex-Susan Flannery) father.
Quinn: “Eric…I found in you what I have been searching for my entire life, a man who accepts me for all my eccentricities, who knows that I go WAY overboard, sometimes, and he loves me in spite of it.” Um…correct us if we’re wrong Quinn, but didn’t you have that with Deacon (Sean Kanan)?
You remember he’s the man you married, then divorced soon after, then shoved off a cliff so you could sink your claws into an amnesiac Liam. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
