The writing is on The Bold and the Beautiful wall, right? Steffy slept with Liam during a foolish drunken night. Steffy also has a wonderful boyfriend named Finn, who is probably the best thing that ever happened to her.
Plus, actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is pregnant in real life and has been hiding her growing belly behind sweaters — not typical fashion for Steffy. Writing in her pregnancy would make the actress’s life — and wardrobe’s life — more convenient. But, should it be done? Soap Hub asked this question of BB fans and here are the results.
Too Many Invisible Kids
A full 60% of fans said absolutely not. The show already has enough kids we barely ever see, and that includes Liam’s (Scott Clifton) first two daughters. While we hear enough about Beth and Kelly, we never actually see them. Somehow they are always in another room or at a playdate.

You’re happy Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) finally turned up a few weeks ago, but it’s not enough. If the show is going to keep letting its leading ladies have kids, it may as well let the audience see them. Plus, do we really need yet another ‘Who’s The Daddy?’ story with Liam as the prospective pop?
Not So Fast…
Yes, yes, we do, say the remaining 40% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans. That’s what soaps are about. Paternity puzzles and illicit affairs are the bread and butter of daytime, so why not bring another tale on? You know Steffy and Liam’s one night together can’t stay a secret forever and a pregnancy is sure to blow things up and add drama.
Plus, maybe Liam doesn’t really need all these kids and the show can dig further back and reveal that Bill (Don Diamont) is actually Kelly’s dad. We haven’t seen Bill for a while and this would certainly give him a story. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
