The plane was delayed and the longer it took, the more uneasy Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) became. Her gut was telling her something was wrong and the more she tried to talk it out with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), the worse she felt. Ultimately, she decided to head home.

B&B Recap: Caught In The Act

Back at the cliff house, Jack Finnegan (Ted King) managed to convince his son to let Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) in the house. It was a hard sell but Finn (Tanner Novlan) eventually let her in. Don’t worry, son, no one will know. Steffy is on her way out of town, right? It will be our secret.

Once in the house, Sheila begged, pleaded, and manipulated her way into not just seeing baby Hayes Forrester Finnegan, but holding him too. This was a huge mistake on many levels, but especially the timing. No sooner did Sheila get cozy with Hayes than Steffy came home. “Sheila!” she screamed.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Burning Bridge

Meanwhile, tempers exploded at the Forrester mansion. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) stormed in to have their say. They berated Eric Forrester (John McCook) for taking back his wife. Oh, and her portrait is back over the fireplace? How absolutely dare you!

To her credit, Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) stayed reasonably quiet. To his credit, Eric stuck up for his wife and his marriage. He shut Ridge down and reminded Brooke that no marriage is perfect, including hers. Then Eric did something no one saw coming. He told Brooke and Ridge to get out. They were stunned Eric actually told them to leave. Their jaws hit the floor when Eric escorted them out.
