The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 4 – 8 features Thomas taking a dip in a very strange liquid, a whole lot of objections to a possible adoption, and some questions that only the fans can answer.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Weekly Highlights
Whenever BB finds a plot point that works, they play it ad nauseum until they’re finally forced to move on to the next idea. That’s why this soap’s first 20 years or so was predicated on the roundabout love affair of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).
Every so often a new detractor would enter the picture — Caroline, Taylor, Thorne, Deacon, Eric (John McCook) etc. — and Stephanie was always there to slap her (sometimes) daughter-in-law across the face and read her for filth.
Then somewhere around wedding number eight the Powers that Be decided the series needed a new focus. Enter the Steffy/Liam/Hope love triangle, which hasn’t gone on nearly as long as the Brooke/Ridge story although it feels like it has.

It remains to be seen if the corrosive liquid will really leave Thomas a skeleton or if he will somehow survive and live to stalk another day — bet on the latter — but one thing that is for certain is that Ridge will not let Hope leave with Douglas without putting up a major fight.
He already spent the week wistfully musing to Shauna (Denise Richards) that his son was not the psychopath that his wife and step-daughter were making him out to be — totally unaware that Thomas had attempted to trade his kid for sex with Hope.
One could argue that bartering an offspring for sex isn’t exactly psychopathy but it’s nonetheless troubling behavior that Ridge just refuses to acknowledge.
Hope is also going to have trouble convincing her not-husband Liam (Scott Clifton) to accept Douglas as his own. As he told both Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Bill (Don Diamont), he doesn’t …continue reading on the next page —>
