The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Sally’s Downfall And Steffy’s Accident

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 27-31, 2020, features Sally’s confession – and collapse – as well as a check-in on Memorial Hospital’s newest VIP patient, Steffy Forrester.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

Turns out, there is a fate worse than death: disappointing Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). And that’s a fact that Sally (Courtney Hope) learned the hard way. She begged and pleaded for some forgiveness – were her crimes really that bad? – and for some understanding. And then she worked herself into such a tizzy that she collapsed into a heap on the floor!

Another fact learned by all is that stress is a very real detriment to a person’s health. Hence, Sally’s brief trip into unconsciousness. But that little episode seemed to have some positive side effects. At the very least, no one was yelling at Sally anymore. In point of fact, Flo (Katrina Bowden) even told Sally that she could understand why she did what she did.

And she had no problem leaving Sally and Wyatt alone in the former’s hospital room so she could make yet another request for peace, love, and understanding. But will Wyatt be able to forgive and forget? Probably.

Heiresses Make The Worse Patients

Ridge (Thorsen Kaye) made quite the observation this week, and it wasn’t very complimentary where Bill (Don Diamont) was concerned. He believed that any time and every time that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was upset or injured there Bill was, right by her side – and always the cause of the suffering.

Now, we would argue that it’s actually a 50/50 split between Bill and Liam (Scott Clifton), you know, the man Steffy married a gazillion times and who always left her for Hope (Annika Noelle). But we digress. Bill did indeed run her down with his Escalade (okay, okay…we’re assuming it was an Escalade. What else would Dollar Bill drive? A Ford Escape? Don’t be ridiculous!) so maybe Ridge has a point.

Luckily for Bill, Detective Sanchez (Jeremy Ray) doesn’t think a crime was committed so he is off the hook legally speaking. Unluckily for Steffy, she has a sprained back and broken ribs. Not exactly injuries that you bounce right back from.

BB Musings

Isn’t it about time that the producers of this soap update the opening credit sequence? Wayne Brady, Karla Mosley, Rome Flynn, and Jacob Young’s glamour shots are all still accounted for and yet the actors haven’t made an appearance in months and, in some cases, years. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings or airtimes.
