The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, June 22, 2020, kicked off Emmy Winners week with a flashback to the September 1, 2010 episode that won Scott Clifton is the first big win. Liam learned his father is Bill Spencer and he did not take the news well.
The truth was in and Liam (Scott Clifton) was a Spencer. Katie (Heather Tom) and Hope (then-Kim Matula) were ready to celebrate but their men were not. Bill (Don Diamont) needed a stiff drink and Liam was not in the partying mood at all.
Once alone, Bill and Liam really had it out. Bill told his side, Liam told her about Kelly’s last wishes. She gave him a file and told him to go to Forrester. That’s all he knew and that’s what he did. Little did he know, his quest would bring him to Bill’s doorstep.
Bill did what Bill always does and tried to throw money at his problem. He offered Liam a job and demanded he report to work the next day. Liam flipped out. Enough was enough and Bill punched him in the face.
Outside the room, Hope thought about her own dad. What would she do if Deacon showed up? She was sure she’d tell him to go away. Or, she’d have him take her away from this place. She wasn’t sure.
Over at the FC office, Thorne (then-Winsor Harmon) announced he was not the father and took solace in his family. What he did not expect was their attitudes. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) was thrilled. Of course, she felt bad for Liam but at least Thorne was off the hook. Thorne didn’t look at it that way. He really wanted Liam to be his.
Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Oliver (Zack Conroy) were taking stock of their lives too. He was packing his things and trying to hightail it from the office before he was fired. She stopped him in his tracks. Everyone loved him (including her) and he wasn’t going anywhere.
Oliver wasn’t sure about sticking around, though. He was the other half of a huge scandal and sure no good could come of him unpacking his things. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
