Hope (Kristian Alfonso) heard about Claire’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) recovery but had to see it for herself. She went to the apartment, had a chat with Marlena (Deidre Hall), and then spoke with the demon child herself. Yes, yes, Claire seemed much better.
In fact, they got an inside look at Claire’s new attitude when Gwen (Emily O’Brien) came knocking on the door. She just finished kissing Jake (Brandon Barash) and needed the book. Claire demanded she take the book to the boys at once before anyone else got hurt.
Stand With Me
Meanwhile, Ciara spent her day talking to her brother about Claire’s progress and role in her wedding. Did she really want her as a maid of honor? Would Claire try to destroy the whole day? In the end, Ciara decided to roll the dice. She and Shawn made a heartfelt offer to allow Claire to stand beside her at the wedding.
Gwen Cornered Jake
As for Gwen, she took the book back to Jake but had a few demands before she handed it over. She wanted several apologies and a promise they were a couple again. Jake tried to balk, but he had no choice.

Chad And Gabi Faced Off
Drama arose at the DiMera mansion between Gabi (Camila Banus) and Chad (Billy Flynn). He was home to see her go down in flames. If Gabi didn’t get punished in the courtroom, he’d make sure she paid one way or another.
Jack (Matthew Ashford) happened upon the scene, broke it up, and had a talk with Chad. He begged Chad to go back and be by Abigail’s side but he refused. Sorry, Jack, his place was here with the children and that was that.
Can Rafe Save Gabi?
Gabi ran off to see her brother. Rafe (Galen Gering) tried to strike a deal with Rolf (William Utay), and it almost went well. The crazy doc didn’t quite admit to everything but he gave Rafe enough to get Gabi off. Unfortunately, the confession came too late. Poor Gabi was crushed.
Back in the room, Rolf picked up the phone to give his mysterious contact an update. Things were falling apart and he needed back up. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
