The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, November 8, features Quinn Fuller Forrester and Carter Walton discussing Eric Forrester, Katie Logan and Donna Logan discussing Carter, and Brooke Logan Forrester standing up to Ridge Forrester over Deacon Sharpe for Hope Logan Spencer’s sake.
Without the Logan women, Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Eric (John McCook) would be totally fine, or so Quinn thinks. However, Katie (Heather Tom) let Quinn have a piece of her mind where Eric’s concerned.
Speaking of Quinn, Donna (Jennifer Gareis) finds the fact that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) wanted Quinn unacceptable. The other Logan sister, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), might or might not have fallen for Hope’s (Annika Noelle) plea to give her father, Deacon (Sean Kanan), another chance. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) certainly won’t approve, nor will Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Deacon repeatedly disappointed Hope throughout her life. However, he declared that Hope is the best part of him and Brooke. Even so, they are a family — two parents and a child. He feels love for their daughter, and he doesn’t want Brooke or Hope to judge him. Oh yeah, he’s also not with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
He missed out on having a relationship with Hope, and Deacon begged for a second chance. Hope agreed she wanted her father back in her life. They’ll always be family, and that won’t change.
Why will Deacon be better this time? Prison. Prison changed him and made him get honest with himself. He hoped to get out and do things better, so he wanted to be a father to Hope.
Ridge Forrester showed up and immediately tried to kick Deacon out of the house, but Brooke stood up to him and insisted Ridge leave Deacon alone. Uh oh.
Elsewhere Katie declared Carter really, really hot. Oh yes, he’s loyal and dependable too. However, Katie doesn’t want to share him with Quinn. According to Katie, Quinn and Carter were an unlikely couple just like her and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). But, of course, Bill’s choices are too terrible, and Katie can’t trust him. After all, Bill called Brooke the love of his life, which means Katie would always feel wary of his feelings. But, she looked forward to a future with a man who loves her and only her. Sure, Katie.
Speaking of Carter, he regretted throwing away people who feel like family just for a chance to be with Quinn. However, Quinn unsurprisingly chose Eric, leaving Carter once again the second choice. Carter didn’t feel sorry for himself because he knew that Eric’s love gives Quinn a sense of self-worth and value, and he didn’t want her to give that up. Even so, they shared “I love yous” during their affair, which they meant.
Oops, Katie overheard Carter declare that he would’ve given up everything. Then Quinn mentioned that she and Eric would be better off if the Logan women would just back off. Enraged, Katie burst in on Quinn and Carter and told Quinn to stop giving the Logan women reasons to worry about Eric.
