The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 17, 2020 features more fallout from Ridge and Shauna’s shocking wedding. The new Mrs. Forrester reminisced about her wedding day, Ridge admitted his regrets, Brooke went to see Eric — and then went ballistic at Quinn.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) took to the office to wallow in self-pity and had a good talk with Eric (John McCook). Buck up, Brooke, everyone is shocked but they both know this new marriage wouldn’t last. This was not what Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wants, he made that clear.
Over at the mansion, Shauna (Denise Richards) worried she made a big mistake. Did she marry the wrong man? Or, marry him too soon? Quinn (Rena Sofer) assured her all was well and things would work themselves out.
Quinn left for the office where she had an explosive confrontation with Brooke. The ladies went at each other and Quinn acted innocent, even bold-faced lying about having a hand in the surprise union. Brooke wasn’t so sure. She could smell a scam a mile away.
Quinn laughed it off. Shauna was better for Ridge and she vowed to stand by her bestie. Shauna’s a good woman who will work to make Ridge happier than ever. Brooke was so shocked she stood there with her mouth hanging wide open.
Back at the mansion, Shauna relived her Vegas adventure. She was shady the whole night but she got what she wanted. That was all that mattered.
Meanwhile, Ridge showed up at the cliff house to give Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) the rundown. He admitted to divorcing Brooke, even though he didn’t remember, and marrying Shauna, although he didn’t recall that either. All he really knew was he had a new wife and she had proof.
