General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, August 18, 2020 reveal very little glitz, even less glam, but a whole lot of drama. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this new episode.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
Carly (Laura Wright) teams up with Nina (Cynthia Watros) on the red carpet to welcome the best and the brightest of Port Charles society to the annual Nurses Ball. She lets everyone know they have a spectacular show planned but it will be a little different since this year’s show will also be a telethon. That means people are broken up into conference rooms to man phone banks.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) has his doubts but that doesn’t stop him from giving Carly a thumbs-up (she’ll wink back at him), decked out in his Nurses Ball 2020 T-shirt. Don’t worry — there will be some fancy duds — Carly, Nina, and Lucy (Lynn Herring) show off their evening gowns.
Nina and Carly Welcome All
The red carpet is filled with new couples (like Lulu and Dustin), committed couples (like Curtis and Jordan), and downright awkward couples (like Nikolas and Ava arriving together). One odd couple interviewed upon their arrival is Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero). He says he’s keeping his options open — is Olivia teaching Ned (Wally Kurth) a lesson?
When Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), the new CEO of ELQ arrives on the red carpet, he lets the two hostesses know that he plans to rise to the occasion. Should Nina prepare herself to be serenaded again? Will Jax (Ingo Rademacher) be able to compete with that? If he finds her real daughter, he just might.
Nelle’s No Good
Speaking of the Nina-daughter sweepstakes, Chase (Josh Swickard) runs into the odd woman out (in more ways than one) — Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Will she be seeking cocaine comfort or something else? Nearby, someone interrupts Nelle (Chloe Lanier), who undoubtedly has mischief on her mind. Will she go after Wiley while everyone is distracted by the ball?
While love isn’t on Nikolas’s (Marcus Coloma) mind as he’s dismissive of Ava (Maura West), and Franco (Roger Howarth) thinks there’s just no stopping her — it’s a different story for Nik’s cousin. At General Hospital, Sam (Kelly Monaco) steals a moment with Jason (Steve Burton). He tells her to take it or leave it and she doesn’t hesitate to say she’s taking it. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
