Viewers suspected that Ridge and Shauna had a surprise wedding in Las Vegas earlier this year. (Other than gambling, why else do folks go to Las Vegas?) There’s a host of reasons the union may not survive and one of them is the sem-guilt-ridden bride herself.

Is Shauna (Denise Richards) in over her head with this quickie marriage to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that was orchestrated by her pal Quinn (Rena Sofer)? Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans. Read on for the results.

Partners In Crime

Most of you, 54%, feel that Shauna knows exactly what she’s doing. Sure, Quinn was the brains behind the organization, but Shauna fully committed to the scheme and ever got an officiator to help perform the marriage.

Shauna knew that Ridge was a tad tipsy during the ceremony. Shauna didn’t maliciously orchestrate becoming Mrs. Ridge Forrester, but she will have to stay the course and play dumb about a few things in order to make sure she and her groom make it to their one-year anniversary and beyond.

The rest of you, 44%, feel that Shauna needs to come clean and get out before she breaks. Step 1: tell Ridge that she used his phone to text Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the divorce. Step 2: Confess that she arrange for the quickie marriage while Ridge was inebriated. Step 3: Dump Quinn! Tell her that she can’t conspire with her any longer but she does appreciate her wanting her pal to have a better life.

Ramifications

If Shauna keeps quiet about how she became Ridge’s wife, she just might hang onto him. But confessing all doesn’t mean she’s lose him either. Ridge has made his share of mistakes over the years. He might just find Shauna confessing all to be refreshing and give her another chance. If he can’t get past Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) having feelings for Bill (Don Diamont), Ridge might want a future with Shauna after all. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
