The Bold and the Beautiful Star Kimberlin Brown Talks Sheila’s Catfights

As Sheila Carter, Kimberlin Brown has been having knockdown physical battles with her foes for decades. The Bold and the Beautiful star first started tangling with Lauren Fenmore on The Young and the Restless and continues to get down and dirty today!

Kimberlin Brown: Undefeated Champ

At the Daytime Emmys, Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) chatted with CBS about what goes into making her fight scenes look so realistic. “The catfights take some time,” Brown said. “They take a lot of preparation. It involves a lot of behind the scenes [work] with your stunt coordinator…just to make sure we don’t get hurt.

“The most recent catfight you saw with Li [Naomi Matsuda] and myself [was one where] we first watched stunt doubles perform it and then, we stepped in and repeated the action,” Brown explains. “They showed us how to do it without getting hurt…it was exciting. It was a challenge, but we got through!”

In addition to Lauren and Li, Sheila’s faced off in physical brawls with Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) and the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). Arguably, Sheila’s greatest opponent when it comes to physical fights on The Bold and the Beautiful is Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer). Sheila and Quinn had many slugfests in the Forrester living room. Artifacts and decorative items were smashed to smithereens, and it appeared on more than one occasion that they’d done irreparable harm to one another.

When it comes to Bold and the Beautiful enemies, Sheila knows how to fire off a verbal taunt and also how to fire a gun as poor Steffy and Finn Finnegan, respectively played by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Tanner Novlan, can attest. (Actually, other characters have tasted lead thanks to Sheila, too!) However, Sheila doesn’t need a gun to assert herself. She has fighting skills that make her B&B’s most formidable foe.
