Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) came back into the Newman fold, and boy everybody is so thrilled…everybody except Adam (Mark Grossman). Victor (Eric Braeden) extolled his daughter’s virtues and praised her for how great a job she did swindling Ashland (Robert Newman) out of the money he took from the Newmans. Victor even expressed his hope that Ashland would attempt to get revenge on them.

Then, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) wanted to know what changed for her daughter. Victoria announced that she found her identity through her family instead of in spite of them. She appeared to embrace the whole thing and explained what she hoped to see in the future with her at the helm of Newman Enterprises. Victoria even asked Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to come back to the family business. Of course, nobody told Adam for sure what would happen, but Victor said he’d deal with his youngest son later.

Young and the Restless: Smart, Scrappy, And Savvy

At Newman Media, Sally (Courtney Hope) shocked Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) by offering her the position of Chief Operating Officer of Newman Media. She couldn’t believe it, and her first concern was what Adam thought about it. Sally pointed out that he respected her judgment, and Chloe still needed a moment to consider the situation. Sally had every confidence in Chloe, and she urged the woman to challenge herself.

Then, Adam barged in, and Chloe quickly made her exit. She promised Sally she’d let her know her answer pretty soon. Adam alerted Sally to the probability that he’s out as CEO, but he also vowed to not let his family get away with dumping him.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Benefit of the Doubt

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) ran into Diane (Susan Walters) at Chancellor Park. Not surprisingly, Diane pushed Phyllis’s buttons, and Phyllis lashed out just in time for Jack (Peter Bergman) to overhear. He refused to give Phyllis the benefit of the doubt, which left her furious. She let her ex know that he’d rue the day he decided to cut her out because of a lying liar like Diane.

At Society, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Allison Lanier) talked about the situation, and Summer got upset when she thought Kyle didn’t think her mom deserved another chance. However, Kyle reassured her that he thought Jack should give Phyllis another chance, but he wasn’t sure that he would. Later, Diane and then Jack showed up, and they discussed plans for the Marchetti announcement, with Diane’s suggestion for it being hailed as a great idea by all.

Y&R: Waiting Games

Earlier, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) accepted an internship at Jabot, which made Jack happy. Then, she went to Crimson Lights to meet Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), but she got there before him, so Phyllis insisted that Allie join her. Phyllis grilled Allie on all things Abbott while they waited.
