Happy birthday, Soap Stars.
Some of your favorite daytime stars are celebrating birthdays in October. Soap Hub has compiled a list of all the soap stars’ birthdays so that you can send your favorite actors and actresses your very best wishes via Twitter and Instagram. Or, if you like, you could go the old-fashioned route and mail them an actual card.
If you are a Libra (September 23 – October 22), here are some of your traits. Libra is the seventh sign of the zodiac and is an air sign symbolized by the scales of justice. As we more fully step into the fall season, we enter the Libra season — ruled by Venus, the planet that governs love, beauty, and money. Libras are focused on balance and harmony. Libras love art, fashion, intellectualism, and being surrounded by beauty. Accordingly, these air signs make excellent attorneys, designers, decorators, art critics, and stylists.
Libras are focused on companionship and relationships. The ladies like a sharp-dressed man. The men like attractive arm candy. And if someone outside their relationship finds them attractive, well, it is very appealing. A good place for their sense of balance and fairness to step in.
Negative traits of Libras are taking the opposite side of any argument just for the sake of it, indecision, not trusting their own intuition, being too mindful of what others think, attention-seeking outside the boundaries of their relationships, over-spending, and people-pleasing to a fault.
Party time begins on October 1 for Ted King (ex-Jack Finnegan, The Bold and the Beautiful). That’s the day the actor turns 59.
On October 3, former General Hospital star Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco Jones) blows out the birthday candles. He’ll be turning 64.
Next up is Days of our Lives star Brandon Barash (Stefan DiMera). He celebrates his 44th birthday one day later, on October 4.
A pair of soap alums will be blowing out candles on October 6. Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter August) turns 46, and Jeff Tracta (ex-Thorne, B&B) turns 63.
Derk Cheetwood (ex-Max Giambetti, Jr.) turns The Big 5-0 on October 8. That same day, another GH alum, James DePaiva (ex-David), turns 66.
Meanwhile, Cady McClain (ex-Jennifer Deveraux, DAYS; ex-Dixie Cooney, All My Children) toasts her special day on October 13. The lovely actress turns 54.
Longtime GH favorite Vanesa Marcil (ex-Brenda Barrett) is also going the party hats and streamers route. She turns 55 on October 15.
B&B newcomer Joshua Hoffman (RJ Forrester) will be in celebration mode, too. He turns 24 on October 16. Also that day, former DAYS Daytime Emmy winner Kyler Pettis adds another candle to the cake. He turns 31.
Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins/ex-Ryan Chamberlin, GH) is toasting a birthday, too. He turns 66 on October 18. That same day, his former GH co-star and onscreen stepson, Marcus Coloma (ex-Nikolas), turns 45.
Back on the CBS sister soap front, a trio of soap stars are celebrating. Hunter King (ex-Summer Newman, The Young and the Restless) is commemorating a milestone. She turns 30 on October 19. The next day, Conner Floyd (Chance, Y&R) also turns 30. B&B’s Dick Christie (Charlie Webber) celebrates birthday number 75 on October 21.
If you are a Scorpio (October 23 – November 21), here are some of your traits. Scorpio is the eighth sign of the zodiac and is a water sign symbolized by the Scorpion. Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars, the planet of action, sex, strength, and courage, and Pluto, the planet of transformation, the underworld, life, death, and rebirth. If Scorpio had to be described with just one word, that word would be intensity! Other traits include the ability to dive into deep emotions, personal magnetism, confidence, spot-on intuition, and being extremely goal-oriented.
Scorpios can size people up accurately. It is unsettling to others of lesser intensity, which sometimes causes instant fear of Scorpios or stirs up feelings of jealousy. For those who can handle the intensity, it inspires instant loyalty and trust. If you give a Scorpio your trust, you will have a loyal friend for life. A warrior on your side. As a sexual partner, they can take you to places that no one else can.
Negative traits of Scorpios are jealousy, stubbornness, possessiveness, control issues, addictions, being stuck in their ways, difficulty making changes, obsessiveness, pessimism, negativity, and even a little bit of paranoia. Y&R vet Doug Davidson (ex-Paul Williams) turns 69 on October 24. The next day, on October 25, DAYS star Christopher Sean (Paul) celebrates #38. On October 27, Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew, One Life To Live) turns 29.
GH’s Lexi Ainsworth, who recently exited the soap as Kristina Davis, is gearing up for some cake and candles, too. She turns 31 on October 28.
A trio of soap stars call October 29 their natal day. Victoria Konefal (ex-Ciara Brady, DAYS) turns 27; Daniel Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera, DAYS) turns 42; and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane, GH) turns 64.
On October 30, Kristina Wagner (Felicia Scorpio, GH) celebrates a big birthday. She’s turning 60. It’s the same day Paul Telfer (Xander Cook, DAYS) turns 44.
The month of celebrations comes to a close on Halloween. That’s right. October 31 is DAYS’ Deidre Hall’s (Marlena Evans Black) birthday, as well as B&B’s Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), who turns 38.
As the lingering effects of Mercury turning direct ends, October 14 brings us the eclipse season in Libra. What does that mean for us? A desire to bring more balance in our lives. It begins near the South node, calling for endings and tying up loose ends. You may feel an overall tiredness or lethargy. By the time Mercury conjoins with the Sun on October 20, you will feel a sense of renewal or revitalization and gain a sense of clarity about your relationships.
October 10th finds Pluto stationing direct, bringing all our desires and secrets to the surface. When Pluto is in retrograde, we turn inward and hide the truth or bury our wishes. When it moves in a forward motion, it gives us permission to face our darkest fears or confront others. On a global scale, it is about justice.
Once the Sun shifts to the fixed water sign of Scorpio on October 23rd, you will look for answers from within. The pace will slow down to allow you to ruminate on what you want. By the time the final Venus-ruled partial lunar eclipse arrives on October 28, in the sign of Taurus, you will find yourself longing for abundance and pleasure, and find you really want to indulge in comfort. Be careful not to go overboard with the super-charged full moon.
