Bold and the Beautiful star Lawrence Saint-Victor recently reminisced about Carter Walton’s first love in Los Angeles — Maya Avant, portrayed by Karla Mosley.
Lawrence Saint-Victor Shares Carter and Maya Throwback
The actor shared a Throwback Thursday post of Carter and Maya in the latter’s small L.A. apartment on the CBS daytime drama. The actress wore a unique, red gown with rose-like ruffles on it as she lounged in a cream-colored chair, and Saint-Victor had his face in the frame for a selfie.
“Carter’s first love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I see you @karlamose #boldandbeautiful #tbt,” read the caption of the photo, which you can see below.
Mosley replied with, “Awwwwww, those scenes in Maya’s tiniest apartment ever!!!!!!!” to which Saint-Victor wrote a message with several laughing, crying emojis and a row of hearts.
A Brief Romance
Viewers might remember how this romance started when Carter asked Maya out, but things got a bit sticky when he took her to a dinner party at the Forrester mansion. She saw Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) with his girlfriend, Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey), which made her uncomfortable, and Carter noticed. Soon, a jealous Caroline pushed Carter to continue pursuing Maya because she was worried about her relationship with Rick.

Carter eventually helped Maya realize she needed to report Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for blackmailing her to stay away from Rick to clear the way for his niece Caroline, paving the way for Rick and Maya to get together. However, Carter continued holding a torch for Maya. When things went south with Rick, Carter went to Maya’s apartment, and he even proposed. Although she hesitated, Maya ultimately said yes. Of course, in true soap fashion, that engagement ended before they got married.
Now, Carter is in love with Quinn Fuller, but since actress Rena Sofer left, they haven’t been on-screen. If Quinn isn’t recast, would you like to see Maya return and rekindle a romance with Carter? Let us know in the comments below.
