The Bold and the Beautiful’s Sean Kanan has been all over the place lately. He’s reprised his role as Mike Barnes on Cobra Kai, created a new brand of hot sauce, and even put out a new book. He and his wife Michelle Kanan co-wrote the new book Way of the COBRA Couples, which garnered them an International Impact Book Award. Now, they’ve got a book signing coming up and a special co-worker will be moderating the event.
Nothing Says Sanity Like Deacon and Sheila
Kimberlin Brown, who plays the reformed B&B villain Sheila, created a live video on Instagram with Kanan (Deacon), with the caption, “Come join us February 8th at Barnes & Noble in Palm Desert, California 2 PM! Be there or be square.” In the video, Brown stated that they were, “hanging out in my dressing room right now, and we’re talking about Sean’s new book…appearance in Palm Desert with Michelle.” Kanan added, “Which you have graciously signed on to moderate and it’s going to be a great event.”
He reiterated the time and place of the book signing, plugging it by saying, “And if you are looking to turbocharge your relationship or if you are looking to find the right one, this is the book for you. And who better to bring it to you than Deacon and Sheila?” With a hysterical nod to Sheila’s villainous antics on the show, Kanan continued, “Nothing says sanity like Deacon and Sheila,” to which Brown added, “No, nothing says sanity like that.”

Male and Female Minds Work Differently
Brown gushed about this third installment of Kanan’s Way of the Cobra book series, noting, “It’s interesting because it gives a female’s perspective on a relationship. And then it gives a male perspective as well and…it’s really quite fascinating to see how differently our minds work.” Kanan jumped in, quipping, “I think you just like having the curtain pulled back on my marriage,” and burst into laughter.
Kanan discussed how this book was a different approach than his previous ones, being focused on couples. Brown remarked, “It really makes you kind of take a look at your own relationship, quite honestly, in a different…light. In a positive light.”
The two also briefly mentioned what’s going on with Deacon and Sheila in the show, and Kanan noted, “Things will be heating up. Things will definitely be heating up.” Brown added, “We can’t really talk more about it, but it’s going to get very interesting very fast.” (Revisit Deacon and Sheila’s wedding.)
