Sean Kanan Way of the COBRA
Deacon Sharpe is doing his best to offer support to grieving mother Sheila Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful. Off-screen, Deacon’s portrayer, Sean Kanan, is an author/motivational speaker and if you’re in the Los Angeles area (and even if you’re not!), you can meet him at an upcoming event!
Fan-favorite Kanan is speaking at a motivational seminar on Sunday, May 22 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Kaizen Dojo, 1824 W. 182nd Street, Torrance, California. The event is hosted by Sensei William Christopher Ford, best known as Dennis in Karate Kid III, the film in which Kanan played Mike Barnes. In the actor’s own words, he explains why this is the seminar for you!
“Welcome to the dojo, the dojo of COBRA life; I am your sensei,” Kanan explains in his motivational book Way of the COBRA. “Time to wake the beast! It may be caged, but it’s in there. I will unleash your inner COBRA by the end of this book, that successful, driven beast within you. What you do with it is up to you. You can read all the books in the world about success and motivation, but without action, you are wasting your time.
“The exercises within these pages will help you determine YOUR SUCCESS, identify your WHY, set your GOALS, and achieve them,” Sean Kanan continues. “I’m just a small-town boy with a dream made possible by way of the COBRA. My philosophy propelled me into icon status as Karate’s Bad Boy Mike Barnes in Karate Kid III, then saved my life in a near-death experience.
