In addition to a slew of memorable performances, Rena Sofer will be remembered by her Bold and the Beautiful family for some thoughtful presents. In honor of her exit from B&B, where she’s played Quinn Fuller Forrester for nearly a decade, Sofer’s handing out some thoughtful mementos to her pals on the show.

Rena Sofer Presents Co-Star With a Unique Gift

“As I’m preparing to leave Bold and the Beautiful after nine years, I really wanted to kind of ‘marry’ this new thing that I love doing — ceramics — and give my love in that way to some of the people that have meant the most to me on the show,” Sofer began in an Instagram post.

Presenting a beautiful blue jar, she explained its origins, components, and the gift’s recipient. Sofer said she wanted to show folks what she made for John McCook (Eric Forrester) because she feels it expresses what she and others know about his personality.

Cheers to John McCook

Rena Sofer goes on to explain just what her impressions of McCook are. “John McCook is like a glass of champagne — he’s bubbly and fun and exciting and makes you giggle and makes you laugh. People bring out champagne when they want to celebrate, when they want to love, and people bring out champagne when they’re excited,” Sofer points out. “Everything about John McCook is all of those things. It was an honor working with him and being his wife on the show for as many years as I got to do it.”

Sofer loves working with Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton), too, but can’t help but wish she could have the best of both worlds. “I almost wish I got to finish out my time on the show being Mrs. Eric Forrester, but I’m very happy with the way it turned out because I think Lawrence is pretty special. But this is about John.”

Rena Sofer – Thanks for the Memories

When Sofer made the video, she hadn’t yet given McCook his gift and she noted that he wasn’t set to work on her last day. “I hope he’s going to love it,” Sofer says. “I want him and all of you fans out there of ‘Queric’ and of Quinn and Eric together that I’ve been an incredibly fortunate human being in life.”

Sofer adds that one of the great gifts she says she’s been given as an actress is to work with great actors. “John McCook is one of the greatest,” the actress praises. “I just want to say to him, ‘Thank you for being one of the best acting partners I could have asked for. Thank you, John.'”
