The Bold and the Beautiful News: Katrina Bowden Misses The Little Things During Pandemic

If you’re missing the little things in life courtesy of the coronavirus pandemic that’s led to self-quarantining over the last several months, Katrina Bowden feels your pain. The Bold and the Beautiful star recently shared on Instagram about that awkward moment many of us face while dining out.

Katrina Bowden: Just A Little More Pepper

“I miss that awkward moment when you’re at a restaurant and you say ‘yes’ to the fresh cracked pepper and your server says ‘tell me when’ and they start twisting the pepper grinder,” says Bowden, who plays Flo on The Bold and the Beautiful. “You know deep down you’re not ready to say ‘when’ but they’ve been cracking that pepper for a couple seconds too long for everyone’s comfort level so you say ‘that’s great thanks…'”

However, Bowden theorizes that you might be wanting additional seasoning. “[Y]ou don’t really mean it because you actually want just a little bit more fresh cracker pepper and you spend the rest of the meal knowing you lied and wondering how much more delicious your food could be if you got the extra sprinkle….anyone else? The good old days.”

Bowden’s pals and co-stars chimed in with responses. Some can relate, substituting their fondness for cheese in place of the cracked pepper. “I mean this but [with] Parm [Parmesan cheese],” responded Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless). “When I was pregnant I had no shame and asked them to bring me a bowl of it on the side 😂.”

Katrina Bowden loves the idea of a side dish of cheese, saying, “omg wait this is genius. I’m not pregnant but I will also 100% ask for a side bowl of Parm.” Kruger noted: “I can’t wait to go back to that.
