The Bold and the Beautiful News: Denise Richards Talks Her Two Husbands

Tensions will likely flair between Shauna and Brooke now that the former is wed to the latter’s true love, Ridge, on The Bold and the Beautiful. Is the off-screen dynamic between Denise Richards, Shauna’s portrayer, and her current and ex-husbands, Aaron Phypers and Charlie Sheen, tense or amicable?

Denise Richards: The Best Of Both Worlds

Richards, who also appears on the reality TV series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recently shared that her husband and the ex-Two and a Half Men star, who is the father of two of her daughters, get along just fine.

In fact, Denise Richards told The Daily Dish that they “have a wonderful relationship.” Fortunately, Sheen lives minutes away from Richards and Phypers, which makes co-parenting daughters, Sam and Lola, more do-able. (Richards has a third daughter, Eloise, whom she adopted.)

“For years, it’s been different ups and downs,” Richards told the Washington Post. “But I’ve always tried to maintain protecting the kids from seeing any of that or being privy to any discord. I never wanted to tarnish the relationship with my girls with their dad. That’s their relationship. So, I’m so happy that things are in a great place.”

How will Shauna hit it off with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) on The Bold and the Beautiful? Steffy is no fan of Shauna’s as her daughter Flo (Katrina Bowden) was an accessory after the fact in the kidnapping of the little girl that Steffy illegally adopted.

Thomas, however, is a different story. He’s no fan of Brooke’s because she wasn’t in favor of Hope marrying Thomas. Therefore, Thomas is just fine with Brooke being on the outs. Characters on BB sometimes put their animosities aside, especially around the time of the holidays. However, Ridge is going to likely find that Brooke and Shauna — not to mention Shauna’s pal Quinn (Rena Sofer) — will be fighting and feuding for the foreseeable future!
