While fans love watching Shauna’s exploits on The Bold and the Beautiful, fans of her portrayer, Denise Richards, now get a double dose of their fave, thanks to the return of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The most recent episode was a tough one, and the actress is reaching out.
Denise Richards Shares Gratitude
The former Bond Girl went through a health scare a while back, which was shown on her reality show. Viewers who saw the episode and everything she went through shared their worry for Richards… and she took to her Instagram account to thank them.
“Those of you watching #RHOBH last night…I can’t thank you enough for your lovely & supportive messages, especially regarding my surgery. I felt very vulnerable having me filmed before & after but felt it was important to show, given many of us can ignore symptoms,” she wrote alongside a photo of her at the hospital.
Luckily, she didn’t have to go through the experience by herself. “My amazing husband @aaronwilliamcameron took such good care of me. I’m so grateful to @herniadoc for being so thorough & taking care of me and educating me that #itsnotjustahernia …it was a big lesson for me.”

She learned a lot and wanted to share that lesson with fans. “Us women (&men), sometimes we feel the need to take care of everyone else often brushing off our needs or symptoms to the side thinking they will go away & all will be ok. It was a real wake up call for me, reminding me to listen to my body & it’s ok to take care of myself. Because when the Captain goes down the ship goes down.”
Parents and caregivers certainly know what she meant by that. It was a scary experience but she’s certainly grateful for everyone in her life who helped her pull through. “Thank you again @herniadoc & your amazing caring staff & my incredible husband @aaronwilliamcameron & all of you for your kind genuine messages🙏🏻”
