On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Steffy Forrester put Hope in the hot seat for…reasons known only to her.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Bill (Don Diamont) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) reiterated their grand plan, and Deacon (Sean Kanan) tried, unsuccessfully, to disentangle himself from Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) web. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Steffy Forrester Puts Hope In The Hot Seat
At Forrester Creations, Steffy and Thomas soaked in his latest design come to life. As couture goes, it’s stunning! Petra, the model donning the frock, flirted uproariously with Thomas and even invited him out on a night on the town, but he begged for a raincheck.

When Steffy good-naturedly questioned Thomas, he insisted that his focus was on being the best designer and brother and person that he could be. That made Steffy beam. How proud she is of her brother.
Thomas admitted that he hoped Ridge felt the same way, then wondered whether or not Steffy had updated him on Thomas’s return to the company. She hadn’t. In fact, she hadn’t spoken to him in quite some time, and she was beginning to question if Ridge wanted any further involvement with the family company.
Enter Hope (Annika Noelle), who heaped copious praise on Thomas. Thomas preened that with the two of them back together again, Hope For The Future would be taken to new heights. Hope liked the sound of that, but a glaring Steffy didn’t seem so appreciative.
And while Hope cooed over Thomas’s latest sketches — each one more perfect than the last — Steffy flashed back to the time Thomas relayed Hope’s opinion that he was “hot.” After Thomas headed out for a meeting, Steffy pointedly pointed out to Hope that she’d done nothing but hail and encourage Thomas since arriving. And here she was thinking that Hope might be a little more reserved.
Hope didn’t apologize for so quickly falling back into step with her lead designer, but Steffy wanted to quantify that Hope was speaking in a strictly professional sense. Hope was. Did Steffy think her unprofessional?
Steffy said that she didn’t. However, she did cop to being concerned about how working so closely with Thomas might affect Hope personally. “I’m just wondering how this is all going to play out, given Liam’s feelings for my brother — and yours,” offered Steffy. To that, Hope demanded to know what exactly was being insinuated.
B&B Recap: Justice Takes A Toll
Meanwhile, at their secretive, FBI-funded outpost, Ridge and Bill agreed (shocking, no?) that if the latter can just get Sheila to admit to her many misdeeds — the murders in particular — then their families will finally be safe.
Bill groused that there couldn’t be any (more) mistakes if he was to succeed in his mission. He’s worked too hard and sacrificed too damn much for this thing to fall apart now. He loudly queried whether he should do something drastic to speed things up, but Agent Chen preferred that Bill keep the status quo.
Once alone with Ridge, Bill bemoaned his having to push everyone in his life away so that they’d buy into his cover story. It’s time with them that he’s never going to get back.
Ridge insisted that it would all be worth it in the end, but Bill blanched. “How long?” he demanded. “How long do I have to play this…this broken, lost man who’s only found love in the arms of Sheila Carter?” Ridge’s response? As long as it takes to get the truth.
Deacon Just Can’t Quit Sheila
A panicked Deacon summoned Sheila to his apartment, swearing that it was urgent. Upon arrival, Sheila was slapped with the news that Deacon wanted to end things right then and there.
His reason for doing so? His daughter’s affections. Hope, the one good thing he’s ever done in his life, is proud of him, FINALLY proud of him. He can’t risk her ever finding out that he was Sheila’s accomplice.
Sheila offered that they’d just have to be more careful moving forward, but Deacon countered that this was the end. When really pressed, though, he confessed to being unable to stop seeing his lover.
