The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, May 8, 2020, reveal a look back at one of the most anticipated weddings in soap history, the wedding between Hope and Liam. It’s a trip back to June 26, 2012, as the couple takes their vows in an Italian ceremony no one would ever forget.
After a lot of drama, a lot of tears, and a few too many people trying to drag them down, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (then, Kim Matula) are taking center stage.
It’s a stunning beachside ceremony for Hope and a dream day for the lucky Logan as she finally becomes Mrs. Liam Spencer. It’s a beautiful day, she’s a beautiful bride, and ready to finally begin a beautiful life with a wonderful man.
It’s Hope’s first trip down the aisle but for For Liam, this is the second time he’s taking a bride but he’s sure he made the right call this time (yeah, okay). Hope is a gorgeous woman and he wants to spend the rest of his life (or at least for now) making her happy.
Like always on soaps, not everyone was thrilled about this union. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) leans on her grandparents as she nurses her broken heart. Liam may be the love of Hope’s life but he is Steffy’s too. He’s the man of her dreams and she can’t believe she fought so hard just to lose out.
Stephanie (Susan Flannery) and Eric (John McCook) know exactly what it’s like to play second fiddle. Heck, they’ve done it with each other one too many times over the years. Watch for some words of comfort, wisdom, and even a few tips and tricks for the next time she’s in a love triangle. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
