B&B Spoilers Wild Speculation: Ridge Plays Mind Games As Eric Loses His Mind

B&B spoilers tease that Ridge thinks that his father Eric needs to take a seat when it comes to managing Forrester Creations and the company’s future. He just doesn’t think that Eric should have a voice in what direction the fashion house should go while Eric still believes that he’s got what it takes to create masterpieces for the runway. Well, the CEO position only allows room for one Forrester and Ridge wants to make sure it’s him.

Even though Eric (John McCook) has been in the business for many decades, he doesn’t have the sole authority to run things on his own. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) knows he has what it takes to continue making Forrester Creations the worldwide luxury brand that it is. And he certainly doesn’t need his father’s input. Eric’s mind isn’t what it used to be. Eric’s lost his creative touch, and Ridge knows that.

Ridge Forrester Messes With His Father’s Designs

Ridge waited long enough for the Forrester throne, and that’s why he wants his father out. The problem, though is that Eric is refusing to retire or even go away, for that matter. That’s why we speculate that Ridge is going to take matters into his own hands and mess with his father’s designs, even though he knows his son RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) also had a hand in creating them. What if all of a sudden, things go missing, and designs appear altered, making Eric feel like he’s lost his mind?

B&B Spoilers: Ridge’s Dirty Mind Games

Ridge may be playing a dirty game, but the only way he can push his father out the door is if he makes everyone believe that he’s got dementia. After all, it’s not like his own son Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) hasn’t done something similar in the past. Gaslighting is certainly a strong trait in the Forrester family gene pool. Making Eric believe that he’s losing it, is the only way Ridge can climb over his father and make Forrester Creations the one-man show he feels that it’s supposed to be.

B&B: The Dark Side

It’s one thing to play mind games with your father, but it’s another to be completely messing with his mental health. And that’s what Ridge may be driven to do to Eric. His dark side will come out in a way that B&B fans have never seen before. It’s all because Ridge is determined to shove his stubborn father out the door once and for all.
