B&B Spoilers Wild Speculation: Eric Is Trying To Sabotage Ridge

B&B spoilers speculate that Eric Forrester might have a hidden agenda when it comes to his son, Ridge. While it seems as though his health may be on the decline, Eric still feels like he has a point to prove. Not only that, but he also feels he doesn’t want someone like his son to interfere with his legacy. But how far will he go?

Eric Forrester (John McCook) might seem like he’s a loving and supportive husband and father who wants what’s best for his family, but it’s his name and the recognition that seems to matter the most. In the past, he’s had to save Forrester Creations from going under when his children couldn’t handle the business on their own.

He’s not about to be pushed out of the company he created on his own by Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), seeing how he once almost burned their fashion empire to the ground in his feud with his younger brother Rick. There was more fighting than fashion going on during that time period in their family’s life.

Ridge Is Desperate For Control

Eric didn’t ask his grandson RJ (Joshua Hoffman) to help him with his newest line because he wants to be a good mentor. Instead, he is using him to help him hide his secret about his declining health. He’s also using him to get ahead in his fashion battle against Ridge. RJ is nothing more than a pawn in a power struggle. Ridge might be desperate for control, but Eric is still the man behind the wheel.

B&B Spoilers: Eric Is Willing To Sabotage His Own Son

There’s also speculation that suggests Eric is only out for himself. We suspect he may resort to playing the dirtiest tricks in the world to try and top Ridge. He could easily steal Ridge’s designs or worse, make Ridge feel like he’s losing his mind.

Eric won’t fight his son, but he might throw him under the bus. But as ruthless as Eric might be feeling right now, he’s limited in what he can do. It will be hard for him to try to destroy Ridge’s creations when he can barely draw his own.

Yet, if there’s one thing that we’ve learned about the Forrester men over the years, it’s that their egos have more square footage than their mansions. When it’s time to play dirty, the Forresters will get in the mud. Eric’s last possible attempt to prove to the world that he’s still a force to be reckoned with might also destroy his own family and maybe even Ridge’s mental health in the process.
