There were plenty of fireworks teased in B&B spoilers recently — and we’re not talking about the ones you see on the 4th of July. Eric booted his adulterous wife Quinn out of his life after learning about her affair. But what about the man with whom she hit the sheets — Forrester Creations COO Carter Walton?
Soap Hub asked B&B fans to predict what they think Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will do next once he finds out what Eric has in mind for him. Thousands of you weighed in with different theories as to what’s going to happen next.
The majority of you, close to 57%, speculate that Carter, being an honorable guy (well, except for sleeping with the boss’s wife), will move heaven and earth to get everyone to forgive him. He never intended to have an affair with Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer).
The two were drawn to each other when they were quite vulnerable. Carter can use the skills he has to keep Forrester running smoothly to get people to forgive and forget. Everyone makes mistakes. Why can’t Carter do the same and be forgiven as others have been?
Almost a third of you, about 31%, predict that Carter will gracefully resign from Forrester and move on to new ventures. Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) gave Carter the opportunity of a lifetime by putting him in charge of their family company. There’s no way they can not look at Carter and picture him rolling around in bed with Quinn.
A small minority of you, 7%, speculate that Carter will pursue a relationship with Quinn, who may find herself a very wealthy woman should she and Eric get a divorce. Carter and Quinn spent a lot of time trying to convince others that their relationship didn’t mean anything but we know it was hardly a one-time affair. There’s a great deal of chemistry between Quinn and Carter. Maybe they belong together and Carter doesn’t realize it just yet?
The rest of you, less than 5%, predict that Carter should fight for his job. He’s done a lot of good for Forrester — why should he have to quit (or be fired) just because the boss was having marital troubles? Carter can keep Forrester Creations running like a well-oiled machine. He just might have to skip the company holiday parties for a few years!
