Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?
Soap Opera Casting For The Week of June 19, 2023
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
Days of our Lives
Lamon Archey returns to Days of our Lives for another stint as Eli Grant. Look for the former Salem cop to begin airing on Monday, June 19. He’ll share initial scenes with Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Doug and Julie Williams).
Cameron Johnson is also back on the Salem scene as Theo Carver, Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) son. He makes his first appearance on Monday, June 19, interacting with Billy Flynn’s Chad DiMera.
After a long absence, Marla Gibbs pops in as Olivia Price, Paulina Price Carver’s (Jackee Harry) mother. She’ll be on hand to support her daughter through her missing husband crisis on Monday, June 19.
The Bold and the Beautiful
A few locals get some screen time during The Bold and the Beautiful’s location shoot in Rome. Edoardo Beghi, Tamela D’Amico, and Gabi Spaciari pop up as Italian Reporters on Monday, June 19, Wednesday, June 21, and Thursday, June 22.
Meanwhile, Carlo Carere and Jhon Mejia appear as Italian Photographers. They’ll air on Wednesday, June 21, and Thursday, June 22.
Gabriela Giardino and Alessandro Marino portray Italian Fans of the Forrester Creations gang on Friday, June 23. Marino may look familiar to fans of Will & Grace. He played Paolo on the sitcom in 2019.
In addition, Lisa Ermel appears as Sarah the Spencer pilot. She airs on Tuesday, June 20.
The Young and the Restless
Kym Douglas, the real-life widow of actor Jerry Douglas who portrayed John Abbott for over three decades, guest stars on The Young and the Restless’ stand-alone episode devoted to the Abbott family and their longtime patriarch. She’ll portray Zelda Winston, Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) agent, and is slated to air on Thursday, June 22.
General Hospital
Over at General Hospital, Christina Ferraro is back on duty as Dr. Navarro. She’ll interact with Holiday Mia Kriegel’s Kristina Corinthos-Davis and Tajh Bellow’s TJ Ashford, as the couple explore their options following Molly’s diagnosis with endometriosis.
Meanwhile, Brenda Barberena returns as Pilar, Avery Corinthos’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) nanny. Barberena first appeared in the role back in 2018
