Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
The Young and the Restless has been forced to go the emergency recast route. Mishael Morgan is temporarily out as Amanda Sinclair, due to an eye injury that led to sudden surgery. While Morgan recuperates, she’ll be replaced by Karla Mosley, who portrayed Maya Avant Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2019. Mosley begins subbing for Morgan later this month.
General Hospital’s upcoming tribute to the late John Reilly (ex-Sean Donely) will feature the actor’s real-life daughter, Caitlin Reilly, in a pivotal role. She is set to play Sean and Tiffany’s (Sharon Wyatt) daughter Anna Donely. However, the character is now going by the name Annie. Reilly, an actress, writer, and major TikTok star, is also known for her work in the digital series Meredith and Laurie Have a Web Series.
Annie last appeared on GH in August of 2013, at which point she was portrayed by Courtney Halverson.
Dan White is back on GH as the shady Elijah Crowe on Tuesday, April 20 in scenes with Maurice Benard’s Sonny/”Mike.”
Over at BB, Jeremy Ray Valdez returns as police detective Alex Sanchez to investigate Vinnie’s (Joe LoCicero) death. He airs on Thursday, April 22 and Friday, April 23. Valdez made his last appearance in July of 2020.
Dan Martin is back as deputy chief Bradley Baker on Thursday, April 22 and Friday, April 23. Please note that air dates may be subject to change.
