Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of soap opera favorites The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of Our Lives (Days), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime soap opera. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles. Genie Francis, who’s been off the General Hospital canvas as Laura Collins since August, will be returning to the soap soon. Expect to see Laura as plots heat up during November sweeps
In other GH news, rumor has it that two major stars — William deVry, who plays Julian Jerome, and Emme Rylan, who portrays Lulu Spencer Falconeri — are exiting the soap. To date, neither actor nor the show has confirmed their departures.
Over at The Young and the Restless, Courtney Hope brings fashion designer Sally Spectra, a role she played on BB, to Genoa City on Tuesday, November 3. Meanwhile, a YR veteran is heading back to the soap for a short run. Look for Tricia Cast, last seen as Nina Webster in 2014 to reappear in early November.
Three actresses pop up on The Bold and the Beautiful scene on Monday, November 2. Diamond White debuts as Paris Buckingham, Zoe’s (Kaira Barnes) sister; Ashley Jones returns as Bridget Forrester, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric’s (John McCook) daughter; and Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, YR) resurrects her role as Forrester Creations’ international publicist Eva.
At Days of Our Lives, Cameron Johnson premiers as the new Theo Carver on Friday, November 6. Abe’s (James Reynolds) son, who’s been off the canvas since 2018, was last played by Kyler Pettis. Vanessa Williams will be returning for another visit as Dr. Valerie Grant. She last aired in June, when Val attended son Eli’s (Lamon Archey) wedding to Lani.
