Soap Opera News: DAYS Double Recasts

Melissa Reeves is temporarily out as Days of Our Lives Jennifer, and a two-time Daytime Emmy-winner is stepping in to replace her. Also on the recast front, Laura Kai Chen is out as Melinda Trask. Find out why and who’s taking over as the town’s DA.

BB Casts A Gem

Diamond White is joining the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as Zoe’s sister, Paris. She was last seen on Fox hit Empire.

Back on the Job

Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) has reported back to work at The Young and the Restless studios, after giving birth to her first child. She shared a fun clip of herself getting camera-ready that includes her sweet of her baby Josephine.

United We Stand

Eric Braeden (Victor, YR) called out for unity during these challenging times, despite Americans’ differing political opinions. Find out what he says is most important for all of us.

Following the shooting of two sheriff deputies in their Los Angeles patrol car, Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda, GH) and her son, Kassius, teamed up on a good deed to honor the victims. Marcil stressed replacing violence and hatred with love and empathy.

Maura West’s (Ava, GH) 18-year-old daughter, Kate, has headed off to college across the country, and the mother of five admits her “heart is aching.”

Don Diamont (Bill, BB) and his wife, Cindy Ambuehl, were on hand to see son, Luca Diamont, play his first away game at Duke University. The strapping lad is the team quarterback.

Cancer survivor Linsey Godfrey (Sarah, DAYS) spoke out on Lymphoma Awareness Day. The actress recounted her battle with the disease in a very special way.

Greg Rikaart (Kevin, YR) is celebrating a special anniversary with his husband, writer Robert Sudduth. He made a playful post about the special day on Instagram, and Sudduth quickly responded.

Meanwhile, Courtney Hope (ex-Sally, BB) wished her “rock,” boyfriend Chad Duell (Michael, GH), a happy birthday, and Tracey Bregman (Lauren, Y&R) wrote a wonderful tribute to her pal Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, Y&R).

A Sad Passing

Condolences to DAYS’ Matthew Ashford (Jack) on the peaceful passing of his beloved mother, Patricia. She was 89.
