Soap Hub Performer of the Week for The Bold and the Beautiful: Rena Sofer

Quinn Fuller Forrester had mostly been on the backburner over the last several months on The Bold and the Beautiful. That all changed recently when the character had a one-night stand with Carter Walton. For being torn between her husband and her lover, Soap Hub bestows Performer of the Week for BB honors on Rena Sofer, Quinn’s portrayer.

At the beginning of last week, Quinn and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) were reveling in the afterglow of having made love. Reality sunk in quickly once Quinn received a text from Zoe (Kiara Barnes). Remember Carter’s ex? Quinn went over to Carter’s with the intention of reuniting the two, but instead, she unloaded about her marital woes with Eric (John McCook), showing a deeply vulnerable side in the process.

“How did we let this happen? I cheated on my husband,” Quinn lamented the next morning. Carter, likewise, felt plenty of regrets as Quinn’s husband is not only his friend but he’s also his boss. But the characters didn’t lose sight of what drew them together – both were in need of human contact…and the sex was incredible!

The two returned to Forrester Creations, hoping that no one would be able to see the chemistry between them or figure out what had happened. Once at work, Quinn urged Carter to reunite with Zoe. But once she caught up with BFF Shauna (Denise Richards), Quinn revealed just how insanely hot the sex with Carter was. “It was mind-blowing,” Quinn recalled with a smile on her face.

In Shauna’s presence, Quinn felt comfortable being honest. “I’m not cheating,” Quinn told Shauna as if she were convincing herself. “It was one time. I mean, it was one time…collectively.” Still, Shauna was taken aback given that she knows how much Quinn loves Eric. “I’m not going to judge you,” Shauna said. To which Quinn replied, “Well, you just did, but that’s okay. I’m not offended.”

Quinn’s infidelity with Carter is serious stuff, but Daytime Emmy-winning Sofer brings just the slightest touch of farce to the story as Quinn professes her love and devotion to Eric while also being unable to erase Carter’s touch from her memory. Perhaps the mind-blowing sex with the sculpted marvel has made her a bit light-headed?

How else to explain what happened when Quinn reconnected with Carter in his apartment. She ostensibly met him there to update him on the fact that Shauna knows about their fling, but she’ll keep quiet.

They agreed to keep their night a secret. Then…chemistry kicked in and Quinn and Carter began kissing again. Now, it’s a full-on affair. No matter what direction this story takes next, we can count on Sofer taking us on a fun ride! The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
