Brooke Logan Forrester made mention on Christmas Eve that Rick Forrester and RJ Forrester weren’t present for the festivities because they were away skiing. The Bold and the Beautiful made mention of the two characters because the show knows that audiences care about Brooke’s kids.

Is it time for either or both Rick (Jacob Young) and RJ (Anthony Turpel) to return to Los Angeles, especially now that their mom seems to be in a bit of trouble thanks to her New Year’s Eve mistake? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans. Read on for the results.
The majority of you, nearly 59%, would like to see both of Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) sons return to the canvas. She’s dealing with a lot right now — marital angst with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) over Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), and she’s being threatened by Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Rick could help protect his mother from Sheila. He’s got Deacon’s number having interacted with him over the years. RJ, too, would likely be protective of his mother. It’s a win/win to bring them both back.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Bad Timing
Alas, while many of you, 17%, also want Rick and RJ to return, you feel it’s not the right time. The show has a crowded canvas and as the show is only half an hour in length, there’s not enough time to tell stories for the people they have. However, you are hoping that eventually, the two Forrester men find their way back to Los Angeles.
The B&B Teen Scene
Some of you, about 15%, feel that it’s time for just RJ to return. Depending on casting and what age the writers determine him to be, RJ could herald in a new young set for the show. How would Brooke respond to a young woman setting her sights on RJ? Would she accept the young lady into the family or turn into Stephanie 2.0?
Running Forrester Creations
The rest of you, about 9%, feel that just Rick needs to come back. He’s always had an eye for business and he could run Forrester, following in the footsteps of his father Eric Forrester (John McCook), who founded the company.
