Doctors sometimes have differing opinions on patients, but on The Bold and the Beautiful, Dr. Li Finnegan severely disagreed with her son Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan when he wanted to save Sheila from dying. Li was content to send the murderess to that great soap opera in the sky.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Dr. Evil

Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath, in which they swear to uphold a number of healing goals. Well, we can’t blame Li (Naomi Matsuda) for not being truthful to that promise, as Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) tried to kill her, her son Finn (Tanner Novlan), and her daughter-in-law Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Soap Hub asked B&B fans if they think that Li should lose her medical license for betraying her oath.

Li Finnegan: The Doctor Is Out

Sorry, Li. About 22% of B&B fans think that you should lose your license. You promised to take care of everyone, and that includes Sheila. Your not wanting to help Sheila may appear super-personal as she once had an affair with your estranged husband, Jack (Ted King). Officials may not differentiate your stances as protective mama and betrayed wife.

B&R: The Greater Good

Many of you, roughly 37%, say that Li letting Sheila die would be the best thing for everyone. It’d be easier to make a list of people on B&B whom Sheila hasn’t tried to kill. Li likely suspects that Sheila will try to harm others again if she ever gets out of that hospital bed. Sometimes, people have to make tough decisions.

Li Finnegan: Family Secrets

The rest of you, 41%, say that Li possibly losing her license is a moot point. She’s not likely to go before any review boards because Steffy and Finn will remain silent. (After all, they know how to do that!) Li wanting Sheila to die will be buried with all the other family secrets. The good doctor won’t have to worry about losing her license. Her secret is (hopefully) safe.
