In the July 7 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, the Forresters were faced with another blow. It’s bad enough that Hope left their company for Logan. Now, R.J. got his lights knocked out by Will again. This is leaving the Forresters no choice but to distance themselves from the Spencers.

Key Takeaways

  • Brooke is away at a wellness retreat after learning about Hope’s betrayal.
  • Will punched R.J. in the head after he showed up at the beach house.
  • The Forresters claim the Spencers are to blame.

The Forresters Have an Emergency Meeting

At the Forrester mansion, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) checked in on R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti), who got knocked out once again by Will (Crew Morrow). He handed his son an ice pack and made sure he was okay. Ridge said they need to step in before it gets worse.

Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was at the Cliff House, reading online articles about Logan’s fashion show. Finn (Tanner Novlan) felt sorry for what Steffy had to go through. Steffy claimed the Spencers kept lashing out at the Forresters.

First, it was with the fashion show, and now Will attacked R.J. again. She worried about what they planned to do next.

Who’s to Blame?

Steffy was tired of seeing the articles about Logan’s fashion show. She believed that Hope (Annika Noelle) got a good laugh at her expense. Hope played with her and her entire family.

Steffy wanted to believe that Hope wouldn’t go behind her back. She let her guard down and got trampled on. Steffy wondered how much more their family was supposed to take. They’re already getting knocked down left and right, figuratively and literally.

But who’s really responsible for this fight? The Forresters don’t realize why Katie (Heather Tom) had to step out on her own and run her own fashion house.

The Fashion Wars Become Personal

Katie felt overlooked and undervalued at Forrester Creations. It was the same reason that Hope decided to join Logan. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) took Hope’s move as a personal betrayal and is now at a wellness retreat to deal with the pain.

Hope’s line kept getting sidelined by Steffy. Ridge made an interesting point in his conversation with Electra (Laneya Grace). He noted that Spencers and Forresters weren’t meant to mix.

He felt it was his responsibility to guide Electra like he guided his kids through their relationship troubles. Ridge didn’t like Electra’s on-and-off relationship with Will and felt she deserved better. He issued Electra an ultimatum: to end things with Will for good.

Family Matters Get More Complicated

Will and Electra’s relationship can’t be salvaged due to their feuding families. Ultimately, Brooke’s refusal to accept her daughter’s new career drove a wedge between them.

An emotionally distraught Hope collapsed, leading a horrified Liam to rush her to the hospital. Meanwhile, Electra buckled under the pressure of Ridge’s ultimatum to end things with Will.

As we see, these families are crumbling under the pressure. Loyalties are being tested. Relationships are being pushed beyond their breaking point.
