On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Thomas Forrester got exactly what he wanted. So, no real change there then.
In addition, Wyatt (Darin Brooke) offered Liam (Scott Clifton) some brotherly love, and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) warmed Hope’s heart. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) inquired as to whether or not Hope (Annika Noelle) broached the subject of Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) potential return to the company at large and Hope For The Future in particular. Hope revealed that she had, and Brooke quickly deduced that Liam is very much against the idea.
“I don’t blame him,” confessed Hope, adding, “I’ve trusted Thomas before, and look at where it’s gotten me.”

Brooke pressed Hope on her final decision, but before an answer could be offered, Taylor (Krista Allen), on the hunt for the tablet that she left behind the night before, interrupted. Upon being apprised of the topic of the mother/daughter convo, Taylor did her own prying. Does Hope have an answer, one way or the other?
Hope admitted she did, and she formed it after thoroughly discussing the matter with Liam, who is under the impression that Thomas is being disingenuous. Taylor took great exception to that and swore on her friendship with Brooke that she truly believes in Thomas’s sincerity.
Over in the design office, Paris (Diamond White) playfully teased Thomas by wondering if he was back to “save the day.” Thomas admitted that he’d relish the opportunity but admitted that his fate was in Hope’s hands.
Paris praised Thomas’s efforts to improve himself and opined that Hope should be begging him to come back and save her line — but she’s also aware of the Liam of it all.
After parting ways with his good buddy, Thomas headed for the Chief Executive Officer’s domain and cut into Brooke, Taylor, and Hope’s convo.
Hope requested and received some alone time with Thomas, and he took the opportunity to insist that he really didn’t want to cause problems in Hope and Liam’s marriage and that he’d understand if Hope found it impossible to work with him.
Instead, Hope declared that she wasn’t giving up on Hope For The Future and rehired Thomas on the spot!
Meanwhile, Liam and Wyatt got together to grouse about Bill (Don Diamont)…and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown)…and Hope considering bringing Thomas back aboard HFTF. Wyatt assured Liam that he’d merely been protecting his marriage and his family by convincing Hope to turn Thomas down flat, and Liam concluded that his brother was right. Thank goodness that Hope listened to him.
Having been alerted to the possibility that his parents might soon be working together again by his grandmothers, Douglas was anxious to find out for certain.
Hope and Thomas gleefully welcomed the boy with open arms and assured him that that was indeed the case. Douglas inquired if this means that they’ll also be friends again, and the duo replied that they were certainly going to try. This greatly pleased Douglas.
In fact, Douglas was so happy that harmony had been (seemingly) restored that he announced that he wanted to move back to the cabin with Hope and Liam. Much rejoicing was done by all.
