The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for March 20 – March 24, 2023, featured a curious development in the unfolding “Get Sheila Carter Saga.”
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) recaps the lengths he’s gone to ensure Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) ultimate downfall…Hope (Annika Noelle) senses that something is off with her pops, but Deacon (Sean Kanan) manages to cover beautifully.
Bill and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) reiterate their grand plan: get Sheila to confess to the murders that she’s committed so she’ll go down on multiple counts of Murder One…Deacon tries to disentangle himself from Sheila’s web but ultimately confesses to being unable to quit her…Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) puts Hope in the hot seat where her feelings for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) are concerned.
Hope went to great pains to assure Steffy that she had NO romantic interest in Thomas whatsoever…Stephen (Patrick Duffy) and Lucy (Linda Pearl) stop by to support Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Both balk at Ridge’s absence in this time of upheaval. Stephen stoops to literally calling Ridge out on his seeming abandonment of his family but is rebuked…Bill Spencer proposes marriage to Sheila.
In spite of Stephen and Lucy’s admonishing of him, Brooke insisted that whatever Ridge was doing — wherever it was he was doing it — it was for his benefit as well as for the family… Much to the invested parties’ chagrin, Sheila hedged rather than give Bill an answer. After declaring that she needed some air, Sheila makes a beeline for Deacon’s abode and relays Bill’s proposal.
Hope and Thomas make merry in the design room — but only after the air between them has been cleared…Deacon encourages Sheila to go back and agree to marry Bill. When Sheila returns to the manse, Bill lays it on thick. Smelling a rat, Sheila questions what’s really going on.
