The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for September 12 – September 16, 2022, feature more love triangle drama, a shady moment with an insane grandma, and custody talks.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) got a chance to hold her precious grandson after Finn (Tanner Novlan) left him safely in the playpen to take a call. Luckily, she came to her senses, put the little boy back down, and left without further incident.
Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) called Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) adoption into question while having it out with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). If her son wasn’t in his right mind the day he signed the papers then are they even valid? She insinuated Thomas was under duress.
Brooke and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) whined to each other about their lives. The former went on and on about her marriage and that pesky Taylor trying to ruin it. Hope went off about the Forresters trying to take away Douglas.
At the cliff house, Taylor and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) did much the same. They agreed Ridge and Douglas belonged with their family. How dare the Logans try to win again?
Ridge got an earful from his daughter about loving her mother. Taylor confirmed Thomas is firmly on her side in the fight for his father. When Ridge had enough of his child’s tantrum he showed up to see Taylor and check in on how she survived the onslaught.
Over at the cottage, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope agreed Thomas was playing games. Hope finally reached her breaking point and decided to confront Steffy about it. Not Thomas, though, because that’s too direct. She turned up at the office to catch the siblings talking trash about her mother.
Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) showed up at Brooke’s house to beg her to help him with Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Then, they reminisced about their own love affair.
At the same time, Ridge turned down Taylor…again. Taylor warned him Brooke would hurt him…again. Ridge went home to catch his wife in Bill’s arms and was none too pleased about it.
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was treated to a workout with Thomas before the two had a chat. Thomas asked the lawyer for advice about custody. Carter dug into Thomas’s feelings about Hope. Thomas admitted he loves his ex but right now, he was more worried about his parents’ relationship than his own.
Ridge nearly lost it finding Bill and Brooke together but managed to keep his cool…enough. He even claimed he’s just not a jealous guy (sure). Brooke promised nothing and no one would come between them. Meanwhile, at the office, Ridge’s children plotted to come between them.
