The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, October 14, 2021, features Ridge Forrester trying to take charge of his father’s life…behind the scenes, of course.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) could not contain his anger about Quinn (Rena Sofer) stepping out on her marriage. Sure, it was all fine and good when he and Quinn kissed at the beach and made out in the pool-side shower, but how dare she sleep with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). The audacity! Quinn paid him no mind and let his words roll off her.
Ridge then stormed into Carter’s house and targeted him. How dare he sleep with Eric’s wife even if Eric wanted him to? Ridge was even angry Carter didn’t come to him upon learning about Eric’s ED so they could help him together instead of doing this. Yes, Ridge is that invested in what’s going on (or not going on) in his father’s pants.
Carter was not having it. Sure, he felt guilty but if this is what Eric wants, he’s more than happy to bed his wife. It’s weird and awkward but hey, he’s a good friend who has no trouble taking one for the team. Ridge continued ranting and yelling until he got it all out and exhausted himself.
Meanwhile, Quinn went home and was appalled to see Katie Logan (Heather Tom) on the couch with Eric (oh, the irony). She accused Katie of overstepping (again, the irony), and not-so-politely asked her to leave. She and Eric then had a talk about her role in his life. Quinn made it clear being his wife was first and foremost in her life.
All the while, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) decided the only move to make was to become roommates. It was not technically her apartment but she was subletting under his lease. He wasn’t kicking her out, she certainly wasn’t going to boot out him and Douglas. This is going to be fun. Or not. We’ll see.
