On today’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Taylor Hayes comes to a startling conclusion courtesy of maniacal Sheila Carter.
In addition to Taylor’s epiphany, Katie (Heather Tom) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) got on the same page, and Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila played catch-up. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Loathe as she is to admit it, Taylor (Krista Allen) knows that there’s some truth to what Sheila said about them being not so different. And sure, Taylor only has one shooting victim to her name — while Sheila is one away from a half-dozen — but she shot someone all the same.
And not only has Taylor shot someone, but that act has come back to haunt her in a very big way. Because of her big oopsie moment, Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) has ammunition — pun very much intended — with which to blackmail Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan).

That’s it! No more! Taylor has come to a decision. No matter how much Steffy disagrees, she’s turning herself in to authorities. Once she’s behind bars, Bill and Sheila will no longer be in a position of power. Then Steffy and Finn can testify to Sheila’s crimes, and Sheila will join Taylor in the big house.
The rub? Bill will probably find another judge to bribe to keep Sheila free and clear, and Taylor’s sacrifice would be for naught. No matter how you look at it, Taylor is damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t.
Katie is fit to be tied. What was Brooke thinking, keeping the truth about Bill’s long ago shooting to herself? Wee Will nearly lost his father that night, and if he had, it would have been all Taylor’s fault.
True, admits Brooke. She’ll give her sister that one. But truth be told, Brooke can totally understand why Taylor did what she did. She was a mother who thought her daughter had been violated. If Brooke had been in the same position, there probably would have been a similar outcome.
Okay, okay, sighs Katie, she can kinda, sorta agree. Still, what Taylor did was bad. Very bad. Also, it’s weird that Brooke and Taylor have become so close as of late. Who would have ever seen that coming?
Hard agree, says Brooke. But believe it or not, she really likes her new normal with Taylor. In fact, she wishes they had buried the hatchet years ago.
With that in mind, Brooke makes clear to Katie that she’s going to do everything in her power to keep Taylor from speaking to the authorities. As far as Brooke is concerned, Taylor forfeiting her freedom on the off chance that Sheila can be stymied is too high a price.
Another day, another attempt made to perfect the perfect pizza recipe. This time, Deacon (Sean Kanan) thinks he’s got it, and Sheila couldn’t agree more. Her unbiased opinion? That piece of pie was *chef’s kiss* magnifique. Deacon was thrilled.
With the tasting menu out of the way, Deacon wondered how Sheila was enjoying her time spent as mistress of Bill’s manor…or was it just as Bill’s mistress?
Sheila made clear that she was more, MUCH more than Bill’s mistress. She was his woman, his partner, his soulmate. She loves Bill, and Bill loves her, and they love each other. Sheila also knows that that’s hard for Deacon to hear, and she’s sorry, but the facts are the facts.
The only thing that would make her life more enjoyable would be for the endless parade of naysayers bursting through the front door trying to talk Bill round — especially Katie. Katie is proving to be a real thorn in Sheila’s side, and she intends to do something about her. Her rival has got to learn that actions have consequences.
