On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Hope Logan envisioned quite a spicy future with a man who definitely is not her husband.
In addition, Brooke tried to talk sense into her daughter, Wyatt tried to get Liam to see the light, and Ridge boasted about how far his son has come. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Hope (Annika Noelle) spent the first few minutes chit-chatting with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) about the upcoming preview. They joked about how their next line could include Hope in a garbage bag and it would get applause. Garbaaage fashion, if you will.

It wasn’t long before Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) busted up the party. She had just finished telling Ridge she was coming along for the ride to Rome and now had to talk to her daughter about a few things. Namely, being in another country with her lead designer (concerns she also expressed to Ridge).
Hope was happy to talk about Thomas. Oh, boy, was she. Hope was thrilled to show her mom Thomas’s latest designs. She was also pleased to hear Brooke would be coming to Rome. Well, until Brooke explained the reason. “I could keep an eye on you and Thomas.” That did not sit well with Hope.
Brooke went on to warn her daughter about the Logan ladies falling for bad boys. They almost always do. Brooke could tell Thomas is basically Hope’s Achilles Heel and implored her to keep her head on straight. “I just don’t want you to make the same mistakes, that’s all.” Then, Brooke took her leave.
Hope sat down to finish her speech but ended up staring at a card from Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) instead. On it was a picture of her and Thomas. This led to a salacious daydream of bedding Thomas in Rome.
Back in the main office, Ridge was pretty high on himself after defending his son to Brooke. He was even more pleased to tell Thomas how proud he was when Thomas was excited by his designs and trying to rush through, pumping out more fashions for the runway. Ridge commented the last time he saw his son this lit up was when he was obsessed with Hope.
Ridge then broached the subject of that past crazy crush. Thomas stopped him before he really got going. As far as he’s concerned, there’s nothing there anymore. Ridge agreed. The idea of Hope all of a sudden falling for Thomas was Ludacris, really. Not after everything he’s done.
Ridge informed Thomas that Brooke would be joining them in the romantic city. Much to his surprise, Thomas was all for it. He even told Brooke so much when she came back from across the hall. He hoped this would show Brooke how good he and Hope were together.
Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) was at Spencer Publications whining about Thomas getting time away with his wife. Wyatt (Darin Brooks) let him get it all out before trying to inject some logic into the conversation. He reminded Liam that Thomas wasn’t going to Rome for fun and games. He’s the lead designer, and lead designers always accompany their line.
Wyatt tried to assure Liam it would probably be fine. Liam was not buying it, especially after Wyatt dreamily called Rome the most romantic city in the world. A few jokes later, Wyatt got back to make his brother feel better. Wyatt had the bright idea of having Thomas join the ranks in Rome via teleconference. Good idea, sure, but Liam doubted Hope would go for it.
Liam then settled on the fact he still needed to try. He has to find a way to get Hope to leave Thomas behind. He cannot let that man run off to Rome with his wife!
