Has RJ Helped Luna Uncover Her True Paternity?

In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, January 25, 2024, RJ helped Luna connect the dots on the possible identity of her bio dad.

In addition, Liam talked to Bill about reconnecting with Poppy. Li and Poppy clashed again before Bill asked Poppy out on another date. Now let’s dig into the details of what went down.

Fate and Rom-Coms

Once again, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Bill (Don Diamont) did the guy-talk thing. Liam asked his dad if he was ever going to meet Poppy. Because his dad was smiling like a dope every time he talked about her. Bill said he’ll definitely meet Poppy (Romy Park, who just talked about Poppy/Li’s relationship). Liam couldn’t help but notice how Bill and Poppy reconnecting after over 20 years wasn’t just fate…it was something out of a rom-com, and his dad deserved his own rom-com.

Bill knew that he wanted to keep getting to know Poppy, and, as an extension, he wanted to get to know Luna (Lisa Yamada), who was tenacious and talented. Unfortunately, he didn’t know anything about Luna’s dad. Bill mentioned neither did Luna, for that matter.

Twisted Sister Interactions

The argument between sisters continued to echo down the Forrester halls. Li (Naomi Matsuda) said Poppy needed to be ashamed of her immoral behavior. She demanded Poppy never see Bill again. However, she knew he had the one quality that Poppy loved the most: money.

Li even said that Bill was completely off limits, and that nothing good could come from this relationship. And it didn’t even matter that they originally knew each other a long time ago. For her part, Poppy hoped her sister would be less judgmental. This wasn’t the first time because Li was always critical of her, even when they were kids. Li insisted it was never about anger with her sister. It was wanting the best for her. But now Poppy was just a gold digger and she wanted her to get out of Finn (Tanner Novlan), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hayes’s (Alexander and Chase Banks) lives. Poppy told Li to butt out!

Connecting the Dots

RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna talked about Li’s bullying, and Poppy reconnecting with Bill after 20 years. Suddenly, RJ got this perplexing look on his face. He tried to math the math and came up with a conclusion. If Bill and Poppy hooked up back in the day, something bigger may be going on here.

That’s when Luna got the same perplexing look on her face. Even though she was always fine not having a father, she wanted that person to be there for her mother. But if the two had a very special last night 20 years ago, then RJ suggested that Bill may be Luna’s father!

Follow Up Phone Call

Finally, Bill called Poppy, who was at a restaurant. He told her he wanted to see her again. In turn, she told him about her sister, who called her a gold digger.

Bill felt that label was funny considering he was the one doing the pursuing. What’s more, was that he thought they’d been given an incredible opportunity. He wanted to spend more time with her, and he wanted to hang with Luna. Plus, he wanted Poppy to meet Liam.
