General Hospital spoilers for January 26, 2024, feature A-list content in the form of powerhouse propositions and plans, substantial regrets, and romantic rendezvous. Do. Not. Miss. This. Episode. You never know, it could turn out to be a game-changer.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
For the last couple of weeks, Nina (Cynthia Watros) has been through it. She’s had doors shut in her face, is on the outs with her daughter and her family, and was firmly ejected from the company she made a success. All in the name of turning Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC (a move more petty and spiteful than noble). Understandably, she’s on a downward spiral. But there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has a proposition for Nina. The exes are on super good terms right now. In fact, she’s one of the only people in town he can count on. She went to the mat for him during the recent Dark!Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) era. Clearly, he’s Team Nina and can see that she needs help. So what does this proposition involve? Will Valentin give Nina an in at ELQ? It’s only fair considering Drew just took Crimson away from her.
Vocalizing Regrets and Cooking Up Schemes
Laura (Genie Francis) went all in on New Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) being a good mom and changing for the better. Well, Old Esme’s back complete with her memories and dark and twisted persona intact. In fact, she conked Kevin over the head in order to prevent him from stopping her impending plans. Now, Laura’s wisely and FINALLY voicing regrets but the question is to whom? Kevin? Because, not for nothing, but the psychiatrist believed the best about New Esme, too.

Ava (Maura West) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) aren’t simply co-parents, they are roommates. And now they’re adding co-conspirators to their list of shared titles. The two are making plans, which sounds fairly low-key. However, Sonny and Ava are high-key kind of people and they only do things that’ll cause maximum impact and, sometimes, even damage. So what’s the nature of these plans?
Traveling and Testifying
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) have partied and packed their bags. Hopefully, they’ve decided to leave their respective baggage — AKA drama and trauma behind. Because they’ve finally flown out of Port Charles and landed in Paris! For the next few months they’ll concentrate on art, school, the language of love, lights, chocolate croissants, brie cheese, and the Eiffel Tower. Unless something, of course, gets in the way of their happiness. Because, as Portia (Brook Kerr) acknowledged, trouble seems to find Spencer everywhere.
As for Finn (Michael Easton), his trial is underway and already it’s time for him to testify. Will he be able to convey everything necessary to win this malpractice lawsuit? Or will his socially awkward ways fail to make a good impression on the judge? At this point, the trial could go either way.
