On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Brooke Logan made it clear that she’s not giving up on reuniting with Ridge.
In addition, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) did his utmost to help Liam (Scott Clifton) get his head on straight, and Hope (Annik Noelle) continued to struggle with NSFW fantasies about Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
It’s official. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is accompanying the Forrester Creations gang to Rome — it is, after all, a pivotal moment in her daughter’s career. Thomas declared that he was happy Brooke was coming, if, for no other reason, than for her to see how connected and in sync he and Hope are. [A comment that Brooke obviously did not appreciate.]
Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) swung by the office the trio had congregated in to sing Brooke’s praises, list of varied accomplishments while at the company — creating BELIEF, The Men’s Collection, and Brooke’s Bedroom Line — and relay that a number of folks had called and queried whether or not she’d be available for interviews and meetings. Of course, she is — but, only for a select few. She wants the focus to be on Hope. As it should be.

Thomas wondered aloud whether or not Taylor (Krista Allen) would feel weird about the two former marrieds traveling to Rome together, but Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) pointedly pointed out that it was a business trip. The three then agreed that it was a real shame Brooke and Taylor’s friendship was at an end [as it had, apparently, brought peace and stability to the warring branches of the same blended clan]. Luckily for all involved, Thomas volunteered himself and Hope to keep the good feelings going.
Once again, Brooke took exception to Thomas’s words, but before she could really get into it, Thomas headed off…to speak to Hope. Finally alone, Brooke and Ridge gave her concerns lip service, but it was clear what Brooke had on her mind, namely, getting back with her man. She’s got a good feeling about this trip. “It’s going to be a game changer. For all of us.”
Over at Spencer Publishing, Wyatt and Liam were up to the usual, AKA disparaging Thomas. Wyatt couldn’t fault his brother for worrying about Hope and Thomas going to Rome together. Not only is it a beautiful city, but it’s one of the most romantic in the world. Those people are all about amore.
Little brother suggested that Liam find a way to prevent Thomas from going to Rome [easier said than done], then made sure to remind Liam that it was Thomas who was the problem, not Hope. He’d hit the jackpot when he convinced Hope to marry him [each and every time]. It would even occur to a girl like Hope to be unfaithful with any man, let alone Thomas. Hope is most certainly not her mother’s daughter. [Yea, right]
Also, if Liam’s so worried, why doesn’t he just accompany his wife to Rome? That necessitated Liam to explain that he was trying to show Hope how much he trusts her. Oh, and he doesn’t want a front-row seat to the Hope and Thomas show. Ugh.
Back at FC, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) caught Hope in a daze and immediately deduced that it had something to do with Thomas. Hope’s insistence to the contrary did little to convince her rival.
The contentious convo got even more so when Steffy questioned how Liam felt about Thomas attending the preview, and Hope answered the question by snapping and wondering whether Finn (Tanner Novlan) tells her how to run the company. [He does not, and therefore, Liam does not tell Hope how to run her line. Okay?]
Thomas soon arrived on the scene and saw Steffy out. Afterward, he and Hope discussed recent doings and then got down to the business of critiquing Thomas’s latest designs. Well, Thomas did; Hope, instead, had yet another fantasy of making love to her lead designer.
