Grace (Cassandra Creech) continued berating her daughter about her life choices. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is not a good man, can’t you see that?! Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) was in La La Land, though. Just look at the ring, Mama! He does love me!

Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) came in just in time to see Paris flash her ring and squealed with delight “You and Zende are engaged!!” No, not Zende. Carter. Paris corrected. Hope was more than a little confused.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Grace Let Loose

After some more arguing, Grace stormed off leaving Paris to gloat about her proposal and get excited about her upcoming nuptials. Hope hyped her up. If you’re happy, I’m happy. And, Paris was very happy.

As for Grace, she tore off to the rooftop gym (because Forrester has one of those now) to find Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz). She ranted about the engagement and begged Zende to put a stop to it.

Across the hall, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) confronted Carter, who finally broke down. Yes, he loves the boss’s wife. The engagement with Paris is nothing more than a ploy. But, hey, fake it till ya make it, right? He’s sure he’ll be happy one day. Ridge tried to talk him out of it but Carter wouldn’t listen.

Carter went back across the hall to see his bride-to-be and was greeted by her and a still confused but relatively supportive Hope. Once alone, Carter and Paris talked about their wedding. Let’s do it right away! Tomorrow, in fact! They ran through all the possible guest list options and decided to book Il Giardino for the venue.

B&B Recap: A Sad Reality

Meanwhile, over at the Forrester mansion, Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) continued talking about Carter instead of their own problems. Eventually, Eric ran off to the club and Quinn went to the office.

She caught Carter booking the restaurant and he cried about wanting Quinn but not being able to have her. He’s doing this and nothing can stop him. Quinn cried too, saying she’ll always love him.
