In want of an explanation for why his room looked tempest-tossed, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) had a quick think and then told Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) that he was searching for the engagement ring that he’d bought her.
Aww, that’s so sweet, said fair Samantha. Too bad she can’t marry Lucas. And no, it’s not because she doesn’t want to marry him, it’s an issue of still being married to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Don’t you just hate when your husband won’t let you have that divorce that you’re so desperate for? No? Only Sami has that problem? Okay, moving on.
Days of our Lives Recap: Baby Mama Drama
Just when it seems like Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) might be on the road to reconciliation, he has to go and do something stupid like admit that he spoke up on Jan Spears’s (Heather Lindell) behalf and got her furlough from Statesville extended.

Belle was predictably and justifiably upset, so she went to do what any reasonable woman in her situation would – and that’s sleep with another man. EJ, this is your lucky day. Or not. Sami is at the door after all!
DOOL Recap: Agree To Disagree
Leo swore blind that he no longer has any interest in getting even with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), but they refused to believe him. In point of fact, Brady suggested the two men just beat the hell out of one another and get it over with, because sometimes violence is the answer…or something.

Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) don’t agree on much, but they both hate Jan and Clyde, so that’s something. Relationships have been built on far less.
