B&B spoilers recap for Thursday, April 7, 2022, features Finn’s mothers having it out as the reality of his loss began to set in. Li Finnegan was not about to let Sheila Carter anywhere near her son’s body. Not today. Not ever again.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) let the cabin crew in on all the heartbreaking shooting details, including Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) untimely demise. He didn’t make it, Deacon cried — causing everyone else to cry too. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) ran off to the hospital as soon as he heard Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was alive. Once there, he was updated by a shell-shocked Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) tried to make sense of such a senseless crime. Who would do this? Why was the couple in the alley? They mourned Finn’s loss and prayed for the Forrester family.
Over at the hospital, Steffy remained unconscious and in critical condition with her family taking turns by her side. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) sang her Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) cried as he begged her to come back to them.
Meanwhile, Steffy’s shooter stayed close by her family while mourning the loss of Finn. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) cried on Taylor’s shoulder but her tears dried up quick when Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) showed up.
Sheila begged to see Finn one last time but Li was not having it. She put her foot down and made it clear Shiela was to stay far away from her, her family, and her son. Li also made it known she would make Finn’s killer pay and pay dearly.
Even Taylor stepping in didn’t diffuse Li’s disdain for Sheila. Li was not going to let this monster public mourn her son. Of course, Li is right in her anger — even if she doesn’t quite know why.
