The B&B recap for Friday, December 23, 2022, sees the Forresters — sans a beloved grandaughter and grandson-in-law — Logans, and stragglers like Paris Buckingham all gathering together to celebrate the holidays.
In this episode, Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) nearest and dearest — and Paris — surround him in order to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.
Thanks to helper elves Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) and Pam Douglas (Alley Mills), Eric and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), his gorgeous live-in lover, have everything set for a glorious, tinsel-tinged family get-together. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) are the first to arrive, followed closely by Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) and Paris (Diamond White).
In between the subsequent arrivals of Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and their gaggle of children, biological, adopted, and step, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and whether or not he’ll make an appearance became the topic of conversation.

For her part, Pam really hopes that he does show. You can’t count out the power, the magic that is Brooke and Ridge. And besides, Stephanie Forrester would want the two of them back together. It’s just a fact.
At Eric’s urging, the assemblage took turns expressing what they’re most grateful for, and all the answers were variations on the same theme: for family and for friends. Much to everyone’s delight — especially Brooke’s — Ridge waltzed in, presents in hand, and agreed to stay — but only after everyone gathered around him and made a fuss.
In love with love, lovebirds Pam and Charlie engineered a kiss between Brooke and Ridge — thank goodness Pammy bought Charlie that fancy smanshy fishing pole from which he was able to hang mistletoe — and all seemed to be well, though the “Bridge” has yet to be rebuilt.
Cue the Christmas bingo — Pam’s the winner! — bobbing for candy canes, dishing out of the “lethal” eggnog, and singing of carols with Eric accompanying on piano. It truly was a good old-fashioned Forrester family Christmas…if only Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had been around to enjoy it as well.
