The B&B recap for Tuesday, December 20, 2022, provides proof positive that Sheila Carter will always, ALWAYS come out on top.
In this episode, Sheila manages to avoid capture, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) played backseat copper, and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Booke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) provided unnecessary recapitulation. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.
With a smile on her face, a devilish gleam in her eye, and a maniacal cackle building in her throat, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) led a pursuing officer on the wildest of chases, while, back in the safe confines of the Chief Executive Officer’s office at Forrester Creations, Steffy and Finn shouted such orders as, “Don’t let her get away,” and “Do a pit maneuver!”

Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin), for his part, told the officer that he was on the phone with to ignore the rich and ignorant folks, but if he could somehow force Sheila to stop, that would be all kinds of wonderful.
For a split second, it looked as though Sheila’s luck had run out…but then an opportunity to ditch the idling traffic presented itself, and she was out like a shot! And just like that, Sheila absconded into the night, and everybody’s worst fears were realized.
Despite doing likewise only moments earlier with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Katie just had to heap praise onto her sister for taking an, “I choose me,” approach to living. How brave and bold of beautiful Brooke to do such a thing. Gosh, Katie is just so darn proud of her. And how great is it that Brooke and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), her former sworn enemy, are both on the same page where that no good, very bad for them, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is concerned?
But what of the immediate future? What are Brooke’s Christmas plans? Does she intend to attend the holiday bash at the Forrester manse — the one hosted by their sister and her squeeze, who also happens to be their former squeeze? She does? Awesome! And what of RJ Forrester? Will he grace his mother with his presence? No? Too bad. Will Spencer won’t be back, either?
With all that settled, it was time to talk about she whose name shouldn’t be mentioned lest she suddenly appear like Beetlejuice. How can that horrible, evil woman still be on the lam, and what might she do next? Is it possible that she’d target Brooke, again? The mind boggles.
Color Steffy and Finn all kinds of frustrated…but especially Steffy. After all, it was Steffy who foolishly set all this unpleasantness in motion by confronting Sheila about the subterfuge she employed to sabotage Brooke’s sobriety. Had Steffy held her tongue, Sheila wouldn’t have pumped her and Finn full of lead.
Perish the thought, declares Finn. Steffy has nothing to apologize for. If anything, it’s Finn who should be sorry. Sheila is his birth mother, after all.
