Nearly all of your favorite Bold and the Beautiful characters had their moments to shine this year as most of them had major storylines, even if some of those stories were relatively brief.
Revelations were everything in this fictional version of Los Angeles and some were much more surprising than others. But which character or characters managed to outshine all others with their major moment?
A very small 5% of you were cheering Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) on when she discovered that her husband’s pickleball matches were really time in bed with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). Yes, Quinn had cheated on Eric Forrester (John McCook) with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), but it was Eric who drove her to do this and she thought they had worked things out.
Quinn’s discovery led her to end her marriage and have her major moment stopping Carter’s wedding to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). The scene was full of comedy and charm and made us root for Carter and Quinn until Sofer opted to leave the show and Quinn inexplicably skipped town, leaving Carter in the lurch — and heartbroken.
It was stunning enough when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and left them for dead in an alley. Finn seemed to succumb to his wounds, but Steffy survived and after a short bout with amnesia, she began to mourn her husband and all they lost.
Fans mourned Finn too and that’s why Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) revelation that she had saved her son and was nursing a comatose Finn back to health in secret was the moment of the year for 13% of you. Finn’s resurrection left Steffy and fans very happy indeed.
We all know that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) cannot tell a lie and really, really doesn’t like it when his dad, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), does something bad and tries to keep a secret. He was the one who revealed that Beth was Phoebe and Phoebe was Beth, ending a baby switch story. And, Douglas was also the one who revealed that Thomas called Child Protective Services on himself and set Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) up to take the fall with a voice-altering app.
The moment Douglas played the recording for all the wedding guests to hear as Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tried to remarry was on top for 33% of you.
Still, no matter what happened with these other characters, 49% of fans were cheering on Brooke and Taylor when they finally decided they were done with the Original Waffler, Ridge.
This moment had been three decades in the making and was as glorious for the fans as it was for Brooke and Taylor themselves. However, it was not glorious for Ridge at all.
